Brian Clune is the co-founder and historian for Planet Paranormal Radio and Planet Paranormal Investigations. He has traveled the entire state of California researching its haunted hot spots and historical locations in an effort to bring knowledge of the paranormal and the wonderful history of the state to those interested in learning.
His interest in history has led him to volunteer aboard the USS Iowa and at the Fort MacArthur Military Museum, as well as giving lectures at colleges and universities around the state. He has been involved with numerous TV shows, including Ghost Adventures, My Ghost Story, Dead Files, Ghost Hunters, and was the subject of a companion documentary for the movie, Paranormal Asylum.
His published works include, California’s Historic Haunts, published by Schiffer books, Haunted Universal Studios and the highly acclaimed Ghosts of the Queen Mary, the latter two both published by The History Press with Bob Davis. He is also the author of Haunted San Pedro and Hollywood Obscura, the spellbinding book dealing with Hollywood’s dark and sordid tales of murder and ghosts. His other book titles are Ghosts and Legends of Alcatraz and Ghosts and Legends of Calico, He is currently working on several more titles including a book with his son, regarding California’s many cyptozoologic creatures.
Clune lives in Southern California with his wife, Terri, his three children and, of course, Wandering Wyatt!
The authors’ book, Ghosts of the Queen Mary was featured in the October 2015 edition of Life magazine’s “World’s Most Haunted Places” edition as the subject and authority for the Queen Mary segment.
